Browsing the website
The website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking pixels and loads no resources from other sites: fonts, images and code are served from the same domain. Like any web server, the hosting provider may log technical request data (for example IP address, date and page requested) for the operation and security of the service.
The BlindMaster service
The BlindMaster app works in your browser: tournaments, standings, player registry, cash book and settings are saved only on your device, in the browser storage, and are not sent to the Owner or to other servers. For the players' data you enter, you are the data controller.
The program for Windows and macOS
The program keeps tournaments, rankings, players and settings only on your computer. It connects to blindmasterapp.com only for two checks, without sending personal data: once a day it downloads the list of revoked licences and, if you have a subscription, near the end of the period paid it asks for the licence of the next period, sending only the licence code. As for every page of the site, the hosting provider may log the technical data of these requests (such as the IP address).
Buying a plan
Plans are bought through Stripe, acting as reseller (merchant of record) and independent controller of payment data: payment takes place on its pages, under its privacy policy, which also sets out the safeguards for transfers of data outside the European Union. BlindMaster neither receives nor stores your card details.
From the reseller the Owner receives the order data: name, email, country and plan purchased. It uses them to activate and manage the subscription, refunds and support (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and for tax and accounting obligations (art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), and keeps them for the period required by law (10 years for accounting records).
If you write to us, we use your address and the content of your message only to reply and keep them for as long as needed to handle your request.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and object to processing (arts. 15-22 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority of your country.
